The Kansspelautoriteit regularly fined two illegal providers of online gambling opportunities to bring in Dutch players. Winning Poker Network did not stop offering after that, so a fine had to be paid. Goldwin LTD stopped operating after being overcharged.

Providers of illegal online games of chance are ordered by an order under penalty to cease and continue all activities for which they do not have a license in the Netherlands. If they do not comply, they must pay a fine.

Online gambling is only allowed for Dutch players with a license from the Ksa. Strict rules and regulations apply to ensure a safe and legal offer, allowing players to play fairly and preventing gambling addiction.
