Lawsuits by Dutch gamblers against onlinecasinos
On July 17, the district court in The Hague ruled in four different lawsuits filed by Dutch gamblers against gambling companies. In these lawsuits, as published on Tuesday, three gamblers demanded their lost money back from Trannel International Limited, then the parent company of Unibet in the Netherlands.
Attorney Benzi Loonstein provided legal assistance to the gamblers in all four legal cases. Previous cases in which Loonstein represented the players resulted in favorable verdicts for the players on several occasions.
In the last days of May, a court ruling took place in which the gambling company prevailed. The court of Zeeland-West Brabant ruled in favor of Bwin, as Article 1 of the Gaming Act (Wok) would have lost its original meaning.
