For organizing bingo's without a license or advertising the bingo's, the Kansspelautoriteit has imposed a fine on the owner behind the social media account Luxurybingods. The Ksa wants the order to ensure that the party in question 'does not continue to organize and advertise bingo's for which no license has been applied for'. The charge amounts to eur 19,000 per bingo and has a maximum of eur 190,000 per bingo and eur 9,500 for advertising and a maximum of eur 95,000.

Only small games of chance such as bingo may be organized by an association that has been in existence for at least three years and has not been established to hold games of chance. Prizes may not be worth more than 400 or 1,550 as a total amount. Advertising these small games of chance is prohibited. The investigation shows that at the bingo location in Eindhoven on March 27 this year, Ksa supervisors discovered that a Luxurybingods bingo was underway. No license had been requested for the organization of this bingo.
Further investigation revealed that this bingo was heavily advertised through TikTok. Tickets for the bingo were 65 eur each and the value of the prizes far exceeded the permitted value of the law: the bingo was organized for the organization itself. There is a high probability of repetition, according to Ksa. This is because bingos have already been organized at other locations and the owner of the social media account has organized illegal online lotteries through the Instagram account Luxurybingods in 2022. The owner of the account was previously reprimanded by Ksa over this. The order under penalty imposed “prevents the person concerned from continuing to organize such kind of bingo.
