On the 1st of July 2024, Michel Groothuizen will commence his tenure as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa), taking over from René Jansen. The announcement was made by the General Administrative Service today.

Currently, Michel Groothuizen is a Deputy Director-General at the Service of the Judicial System. Previously, he worked as a General Manager at the Netherlands Institute for Forensic Psychiatry. Before that, he served as Policy Director and Director of Finance at the Ministry of Justice and Security.
