Holland Casino's location on Koningsplein in Enschede will undergo a complete refurbishment over the next nine months. Holland Casino Enschede has a 21-year history and such a large-scale modernisation is the first time in its history. As the casino has four floors, the work can be done in phases, allowing the casino to remain open for almost its full gaming offer.

After 21 years, the look is obviously dated, the layout no longer meets needs and repairs have been delayed, so "This refurbishment is much needed. It also fits with our strategy, brand image and to allow us to develop further. We receive around 350,000 guests a year. After the refurbishment, we will be ready. For the future."
Work will start on Monday 21 August and is expected to last until the end of May 2024. "It will be beautiful and we can't wait for it to happen," Papst continued. "Until then, we ask for understanding from our guests and colleagues. We will do our best to minimise inconvenience, including by making the best use of the space in our building.
