Illegal online gambling providers LCS Limited and MKC Limited ceased their offers to Dutch consumers after the Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) imposed a corrective sanction on them.

Ksa regulators found that on websites of both companies it was possible to create a player account from the Netherlands and gamble with it. This is prohibited. Gambling providers without a licence must ensure that their offer is not accessible from the Netherlands.

Penalty orders
LCS and MKC were both imposed an order under penalty of 165 thousand euros and 84 thousand euros respectively. Those amounts had to be paid if the offerings were not discontinued. LCS and MKC did not let it come to that. The Ksa continues to monitor whether the situation remains as it is.
