Shark77, a Maltese-licensed online gaming provider, has been fined €900,000 by the Gaming Authority. The parent company of online casino 18bet.com will not do enough to stop Dutch, writes the Gaming Authority in its fine decision.

Casino games and sports betting are available on the site. No technical measures have been taken to prevent participants from the Netherlands from accessing the games of chance. The Kansspelautoriteit has imposed fines for the offences.
The Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) has fined Shark77, the parent company of gambling site 18bet, reports the regulator on its website. 18bet received a suspension order from the Kansspelautoriteit about a year ago, but that was not enough to stop the provider.
No Dutch license
Gambling company Shark77 does not have a Dutch licence to offer games of chance. Nevertheless, it still accepts Dutch players at one of its casinos, 18bet.com. Furthermore, no technical measures have been taken to prevent Dutch players from gambling at 18bet.
