Gaming Authority fines Videoslots.com videoslots €10 million. The Gaming Authority has imposed a record fine of €9.87 million on online casino Videoslots.com, according to a statement from the company. According to Videoslots, the Gaming Authority failed to investigate and impose fines. Videoslots said regulators first tried to access its site as a Dutch mystery shopper in April 2022, but this was blocked by the company's systems. The supervisor would then gain access as a German customer and make deposits and single bets of 20 cents.
Based on the illegal access described by Videoslots, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has now fined the company €9.87 million for allowing unauthorised Dutch consumers access to the site.
Highest fine for illegal casino
The fine is the highest ever imposed by the Dutch gaming regulator. Online casino Videoslots has been fined €9.87 million by the Kansspelautoriteit. It would be the highest fine ever imposed by the regulator on an unlicensed online casino.
In April 2022, a Dutch visitor to the site discovered that Videoslots.com had applied for a licence in the Netherlands when they suddenly saw the logo of the Kansspelautoriteit.
