Gambling authorities in the Netherlands have announced plans to facilitate licence applications. This decision was based on a pre-announcement on the KSA's website. The KSA manages the Dutch gaming market, which includes the licensing process.

Update new Dutch license after 1 december

From 1 December 2022, more information will be required to apply for a Dutch casino licence. This will change from Thursday 1 December 2022; casino licensing regulations will be published in the Government Gazette on this date and applied immediately. The updated regulation describes several changes in the delivery requirements. These changes are the result of new Distance Buying Licensing Policy Rules to be drafted in 2021. One of these changes is that auditor's reports no longer need to be submitted.

Licence applications require a lot of paperwork. This covers 18 different topics, including advertising, gambling addiction prevention, gaming system inspection, CRUKS register, payment transactions, player balances and more. Each of these must be accompanied by many different documents and supporting documents.
