What is a Dutch State lottery ticket?

A state lottery ticket is a whole lot with a unique lottery number that gives you a chance to win one of many cash prizes. A state lottery ticket costs €17.50. You have a chance to win the full prize. If you play along with the XL game option, you pay €2.50 extra.

When does my subscription start?

After State Lottery has successfully received the subscription fee, you will automatically start playing from the first draw. In this overview, you will find Collection details. There you can see when money will be debited from your account for each withdrawal. This is about 17 days before the draw.

How much does a subscription cost?

If you play the full State lottery ticket, you will pay €17.50 or €20.00 on the 10th of each month if you choose XL. You can also enter 4 special draws: King's Day, 1 July, 1 October and New Year's Eve draws. On King's Day, 1 July and 1 October, you pay €17.50 for the whole State lottery ticket. These draws are standard, no XL. In the New Year's Eve draw, you can play the whole New Year's Eve lottery ticket for €30.

What is XL for a ticket?

With every regular draw of the Staatsloterij there is now an additional draw: Staatsloterij XL. For that, you pay a little more than you would without the XL:

If you play XL, you have the chance to win prizes ranging from €100 to €1 million. Exciting: For XL, some prizes don't land on the final numbers of your lottery numbers, but on the starting numbers.

Your chances of winning with XL are not as good as with regular draws. The chance of winning is about 1 in 93. On the other hand, including this option is not expensive either. In addition, the payout percentage of Staatsloterij XL is also 70%, which is high compared to other lotteries.

The Dutch State Lottery reating better and healthier country

The Dutch State Lottery qualifies itself as very ambitious. It dreams of a better and healthier country. The lottery is actually the ‘Partner in Sport’ of the NOC*NSF. This great cooperation was established to promote sports and exercising. A substantial part of the revenue of the Dutch State Lottery is donated to causes that make sports accessible to everyone. It benefits 76 national sport associations, who together represent 27.000 clubs and 5 million sporters in total. An incredible number!

The Dutch State Lottery and NOC*NSF support every person that exercises. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, an Olympic athlete or a Paralympic athlete. There is help for everyone, from healthy people to people with disabilities. Both parties have big ambitions. Eventually the Netherlands has to be part of the top 10 of sport countries in the world. This is why donations are very welcome. Only with this money clubhouses and training facilities can be created. How more donations, how lower the contributions for people who like to exercise. This eventually makes sports more accessible, even when you don’t have a lot of money.
