A resident of Nieuwegein won €225,075,- in the Eurojackpot draw last Friday 24 December. The Jackpot also hit last night. The jackpot of over 12 million won a lottery ticket from a player in Germany. The prize is a gross amount and a 29% gaming tax must still be deducted. The identity of the prize winner will not be disclosed.

In the Eurojackpot draw held on 24 December the numbers 3 - 17 - 21 - 35 - 42 and the bonus numbers: 8 - 9 were drawn. The Dutch winner correctly predicted the first five numbers and one of the two bonus numbers. He or she was not the only one. Another 8 players from other European countries got these six numbers right.
