A British winner is 215 million euros richer! He or she won this huge jackpot last week, but the winner has not yet come forward.
The prize of 215,840,341 euros is the amount that the winner of yesterday's EuroMillions draw has been credited with. According to British media, the lucky person is a resident of the United Kingdom, but this has yet to be confirmed by the Camelot Group - which operates the British National Lottery. The winner guessed five correct numbers and two correct stars.
This is the second largest jackpot ever at EuroMillions. The largest was 220 million euros and fell on 15 October last year. In the UK it is the biggest win ever, according to the Camelot Group. The winning numbers were 3, 25, 27, 28 and 29, the winning stars 4 and 9.
