A resident of Gooise Meren won the €5.7 million Lotto jackpot on Saturday. The lottery organisation does not disclose the name of the winner.
The top prize is a lottery ticket from a Gooise Meren subscriber player. He correctly predicted the six winning numbers 7, 13, 23, 29, 31, 41. The winner is invited to the office of the Dutch Lottery in Rieswijk, of which Lotto is a part. After winning a huge prize, he or she will receive "lucky first aid", advice and guidance.
Lotto Jackpot 5,7 million
The Lotto jackpot of €5.7 million is the total prize. This means that the winner still has to pay 29% gaming tax on this amount.
In 2021, the Dutch Lottery paid out €2.467 billion in prizes to players (including gaming tax). Every year, the Dutch Lottery donates almost all of its proceeds to Dutch sport through NOC*NSF, to 18 charities in the field of health, sport and welfare and to Dutch society through the Ministry of Finance. By 2021, this figure will rise to 188 million euros.
