The Dutch games of chance authority (Ksa) has started an investigation into advertisements (including bonus offers) that legal online games of chance providers may send to minors and young adults (18-24 years). This is prohibited. Young people are extra vulnerable to developing an addiction to games of chance.
The Ksa would like to receive reports of advertising aimed at young people under 24 years of age via its reporting form. This investigation focuses on legal online games of chance providers. Whether a company has a licence can be seen in our Games of Chance Guide. If possible, please include evidence, for example a screenshot or the mail. If we have any questions, we will contact you.
The Ksa requests information from licensed providers to check whether they have sent advertising to minors and young adults. This concerns e-mails, bonus offers, push messages or other information.
In addition, the Ksa is calling on social media to report the above examples of advertising aimed at minors and young adults.
